Buying art from a screen is a leap of faith. This is what we promise on the other side of it.

Authenticity
Every work comes with a statement of authenticity from the artist or gallery. If a work is shown not to be as described, we refund you in full.

Damage in transit
Report damage within 7 days of delivery with photos. We arrange return shipping and refund or replace.

Not as described
Size, medium or edition number materially different from the listing? Return it within 7 days of delivery.

What isn't covered
Taste, and small colour differences caused by your screen. Read the listing and message the seller before you buy.

How to claim
Message us from the contact page with your order number and photos. We reply within 2 business days.

Where the money comes from
A refund is returned to the card you paid with. Seller payouts are held until tracking shows delivered, so the funds are there.
Questions about this policy
Atelier is a marketplace connecting collectors with galleries and artists. Sellers pay a $19.99 monthly membership and Atelier keeps 5% of each sale; the seller receives 95% via Stripe once tracking shows the work delivered.
