Auction Supplement
These rules add to the Terms and Conditions for every lot sold in the auction room.
01
Bids are binding
A bid is an agreement to buy at the price you enter. Set a maximum and we bid for you, one increment at a time.

Hammer price
The hammer falls at the highest bid. Atelier adds 5% commission; shipping and any duties are shown before you confirm.

Reserves
Some lots carry a hidden reserve. A bid below it does not win the lot, and we tell you the lot went unsold.

Increments
Each lot shows the next valid bid. Bids below the increment are raised to it automatically.

Withdrawal
A seller may withdraw a lot before the start time. Everyone who bid is notified and nothing is charged.
06
Tied bids
If two bids land on the same price, the earlier one wins. Ask us and we will show the timestamps.
Questions about this policy
Atelier is a marketplace connecting collectors with galleries and artists. Sellers pay a $19.99 monthly membership and Atelier keeps 5% of each sale; the seller receives 95% via Stripe once tracking shows the work delivered.
